Two exciting opportunties have arisen as a result of an increased workload and therefore a need to improve and lift the engineering capacity within the Electrical Control and Instrumentation group of the Company's Nuclear Business Sector

Location

Leicester

Travel from base dependant upon project requirements but will normally be of short duration.

Duration

12 months ++++++

Position

Preferably Staff but contract may be available

Minimum Qualification

HND with minimum ten years experience – or Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably with Chartered Engineer Status

Desired Experience

2+ years experience of design or application engineering of industrial control systems gained with the Nuclear or other safety critical environment.

Capable of developing bespoke solutions to specific needs.

Experience of electrical systems design and component/sub-systems specification to include drives, transformers, switchgear, control gear, relay/contactor logic and Programmable Logic Controllers.

Exposure to a broad range of applications, with responsibility for requirement definition, products/components evaluation and selection.

Understand the electro-mechanical point of interface.

Experience of working within a ISO 9001:2000 environment.

Capable of leading and motivating small multi discipline engineering teams.

Familiar with medium general purpose industrial power levels upto a maximum of 415V.
