Job Description/Requirements:
To support the growth of our clients business, we invite applications from individuals with an engineering qualification (NVQ, ONC, BTEC, HNC etc.) or relevant experience of power stations and/or Petrochemical work for this challenging role.
The role will involve supporting an increasing site and project workload; therefore an understanding of the basic engineering processes involved in the clients work is required.
The successful candidate will be working for a multi-specialist energy services company operating in the thermal power, nuclear, petrochemical, oil & gas and pharmaceutical industries. The client is also a leading international steam generation OEM and supplier of the cleanest, most efficient coal powered technology in the world. They provide innovative technology that supports and enhances the service life of energy assets across the globe.
In order that you can develop the skills and experience required they provide a two year structured development programme, this will consist of different placements across the company.
During that time, they will support your progression and develop your leadership skills through a recognised supervisory management scheme.

Nuclear Planning Manager
The market opportunities and growth are particularly strong in the nuclear and power station sector, and we current have opportunities for the right candidate.
To work on various projects of varying size and type - initially on a large Nuclear Research and Applied Science projects, in the very early stages of feasibility and development of New Build phase of Nuclear Power Stations
As the Nuclear Engineering Planning manager You will have proven related experience, In running teams of Planners ideally gained within the nuclear industry either with a Contractor or Operating Company environment coupled with high competence levels in Primavera. Experience of the regulatory requirements in the UK including development and "optioneering" aspects is an advantage. Good communication skills are required for this role
Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment
You will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of complex engineering and construction schedules, assist in determining schedule priorities by working closely with project management regarding scheduling activities and where necessary lead and facilitate interactive planning sessions You will be required to interface with other disciplines within a matrix management structure to ensure that the highest level of service is provided to the client's delight.
Rates of Pay
Rates of pay are dependent upon length of experience within the nuclear sector or related fields, and depth of experience gained in the required role. In addition, travel and subsistence allowances can be made available.
