We are looking for the above manager to support the Project Portfolio Manager with safety, finance, quality, audit and document maintenance matters.
Define the totality of the specification for the work as defined in a Project Definition Document. Ensure all phases of the project meets cost, schedule and quality requirements. Ensure all project costs are correctly monitored and accrued on a monthly basis. Identify and manage the stakeholders as defined in the PDD
Set up and manage the work execution of the project team. Responsible for identifying and managing the risks and changes to the project. Ensure the project team is aware of its responsibilities in accordance with project procedures.
Responsible for all reporting issues including holding progress meetings, progress report production and distribution of reports to all interested parties. Ensure compliance with Regulator requirements. Ensure operating experience feedback is taken into account.
Will hold project critiques and disseminate lessons learned.
Act as Contract Manager under AGS. (optional / as required by Line Manager)
Jointly establish the project procurement strategy in conjunction with supply chain.
Review all tenders prior to contract award in conjunction with supply chain.
Prepare Strategic Investment Team papers.
Ensure the preparation and agreement of project programmes
Perform Human Performance task observations

Almost all candidates have held or are currently SECURITY CLEARED to site clearance or above. (BC+, SC or DV)
Generally having spent a number of years within their careers providing direct hands on Electrical Engineering Management and Engineering services and guidance within their respected organizations.
Chartered status is a standard amongst our top flight managers.
Senior Nuclear Project / Portfolio Manager

- Knowledge and experience in project management techniques and application, managing high value and complex projects with a proven track record of successful project completion to quality, schedule and cost requirements
- High level of awareness of the regulatory framework and safety legislation/implementation including CDM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
