Job Description:

To ensure that the labour allocated to your section of the scope of work operates in accordance with the safety, quality and site procedures, thereby meeting contract and client requirements.

Job Requirements:

1. Qualifications & Experience

1.1 Minimum Qualifications

3 years Advanced craftsman status in supervisory discipline and 1 year chargehand experience.

1.2 Preferred Qualifications

ECITB SMTDS/NVQ 3/4

1.3 Experience

Significant and appropriate experience in Mechanical & Process Industry Sector.

2 Key Competencies

2.1 Knowledge & understanding of the legal, practical and company safety requirements.

2.2 Ability to execute work in his section to the level of productivity required under the contract.

2.3 Knowledge of the technical requirements associated with their specific discipline.

2.4 Knowledge and effective application of company and client quality procedures.

2.5 Ability to effectively manage and resolve first line industrial and employee relation issues.

2.6 Basic understanding of company administration procedures e.g. timesheets and reports etc.

2.7 An awareness of related contract issues such as:

Commercial/Financial status
IT
Planning function and programming

Providing technical expertise in maintaining and developing your Site Engineering and Management programs. Seamlessly interfacing with all other aspects of your projects and business.

Our Site Engineers and Managers understand our clients specific Nuclear and Defence industry needs .

Our candidates generally have Nuclear, Defence and or Utilities sectors backgrounds.

Almost all candidates have held or are currently SECURITY CLEARED to site clearance or above. (BC+, SC or DV)

Generally having spent a number of years within their careers providing direct hands on Site Management and Engineering services and guidance within their respected organizations.

Rates of pay are dependent upon length of experience within the nuclear sector or related fields, and depth of experience gained in the required role. In addition, travel and subsistence allowances can be made available.
